Juliets wedding dress is a sheath of rich velvet and is covered with silver sequins and is long and slinky. It is worn with a net veil of sequins piled high on Juliet’s hair.
A contemporary portrait of a romantic tale that ends in heartbreak. This production of Romeo and Juliet was set in the early 2000’s, using London’s wasteland and clubland as a backdrop where rival families refuse to end their long-held feud, until tragedy strikes.
The costume designs were inspired by Banksy and used stencilling, spray paints and pen and ink to evoke an edgy urban vibe.
