Juliets wedding dress is a sheath of rich velvet and is dotted with silver sequins and is close fitting and slinky. It is worn with a net veil of sequins piled up on Juliet’s hair.
A contemporary portrait of a romantic tale that ends in heartbreak. This production of Romeo and Juliet was set in the early 2000’s, using London’s wasteland and clubland as a backdrop where rival families refuse to end their long-held feud, until tragedy strikes.
The costume designs were inspired by Banksy and used stencilling, spray paints and pen and ink to evoke an edgy urban vibe.
The original artwork is A2, measurements are, 42cm by 59com.
